At first, it might sound like a fairtytale.

A woman and a man that retreated from the noise of the world, into their own private hideaway: a rustic casita in the countryside. Sitting alone, they toast to their relationship with a glass of the finest Spanish wine — and share secrets.

But something’s off.

In fact, she is the German-Danish socialite and businesswoman Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein. And her lover? He is Juan Carlos the First, reigning King of Spain and descendant of the royal house of Bourbons, who ruled much of Europe for centuries.

And well…

Only twenty minutes away from the casita, the king’s wife of 40 years, Queen Sofia of Greece and Denmark, is at the Zarzuela Palace, seething.

Soon the whole world will be watching, and the fairytale will come crashing down. And with it, the throne.

This is a story about love gone wrong, but not as you’ve ever seen it before.

Tune in to hear Corinna
